Cardiff, Wales

My last stop was Cardiff, Wales. Wales is interesting in that the Welsch maintain a somewhat separate identity from England. Cardiff is mostly bilingual keeping English primary and Welsh a close second. On more than one occasion I mistook someone speaking Welsh when it was really English with a strong Welsh accent. Cardiff is up and coming. They are trying to renovate and grow the city so it is more attractive for business and tourists. Aside from the castle there wasn't too much to else to take in in the way of major sites. So I was able to enjoy my time in Cardiff leisurly as I got ready to close out my trip. On the random side it happened that I was able to see Sting in concert - the venue was Cardiff Castle and it was quite an experience.
