Isle de Tortuga - page 2

Our guide for the day was definitely multi talented. Aside from shuttling us around and diving for oysters, he prepared a meal for us on that island. There are lots of things that make that day on the island stand out, but the fish that was prepared there is my favorite highlight. He prepared a tremendous Mahi-Mahi amazingly well with all types of vegetables and potatoes. Everyone had their fill and it remains one of my favorite meals on the trip.

One of the guides other talents apparently, was finding whales. On the way back from the island he located a mother and calf and tracked them for a while before turning home. At one point we got within 10 meters of these tremendous animals.
