My Flight Near Lower Manhattan Just 2 Days Prior

Sept 19, 2001 - It is a very difficult time to live and work in New York City. This attack has impact which is far reaching and long lasting. As an American it means outrage and indignance. For a New Yorker it means that day to day life becomes more somber. As a Manhattanite it means that your home and its sanctity have been ruined. And as someone who was across the street when the attack took place it means a set of sights, smells and sensations that remain with you for quite some time.
